Christmas Stocking Mash-Up

It began innocently enough–just two friends shopping in Michael’s. We did the usual… you know, finding cool things, spending WAY too much money, laughing!  Talking! But… but then this happened:

Christmas Lights stocking giveaway-mash-up

And today’s the day!

Yep! It’s time! After terrorizing Michael’s with our incessant videos, we bought the stocking and filled that sucker! I’m a sucker for stockings, so that really does fit. Just sayin’.

What’s in this knitted sock of surprises? Well, if I tell you, it won’t be a surprise! Oh, all right.  Here goes! First a couple of pictures….

  • A set of hand-crafted book-inspired notecards
  • A set of mini notebooks because I love those little things!

  1. Ahh, love giveaways 😉 I think the main thing I’d like to see under the Christmas tree this year are more books. They never get old as gifts!

  2. We’re in the process of adding onto our home and we’re adding a library! So I’m asking for books this Christmas – lots and lots of books 🙂

  3. I asked for a new book, bubble bath and a candle. I have this dream of sitting in a tub nearly overflowing with bubbles reading a book with a candle and maybe a glass of wine.

  4. What I would like under the Christmas tree… a kitten! Pretty sure it’s not happening, though. I currently don’t live in a place where I am allowed to have cats, and if I had one none of my allergic-to-cats family would come visit me. 🙁 I love them more than I love cats. 🙂

    1. We had such a SILLY, FUN time. Chautona and I have been online friends for 16 years, and this is only our second in-real-life visit. (There was another occasion a few years ago, but it was short and I’m not counting it.) I hope you enjoy the stories!

  5. I would like to see a stainless steel bracelet watch with a left sided knob? What do they call those thingys on the side of watches? Anyway I want all the controller thingys on the left side of the watch. 😉 A timer built in would be great to.

  6. Pearls! We are currently ministering in China (with 4 of our children in a one-child culture) so this Christmas will be different…but I hear China has good pearls 🙂

  7. Keys to a new car is what I would like to see under my tree. Need one desperately. Love the stuffed stocking giveaway idea and hope I win. Good luck everyone.

  8. A Perry Elisabeth WriteMind Planner. (Okay, FIVE Perry Elisabeth WriteMind Planners, just so I can use the bulk discount code. ‘Cause who doesn’t love a coupon?) I read Chautona’s review of it, and it sounds amazing.

  9. Hmmm, I don’t know if there is anything I really need. Now want, on the other hand, is a different story. I want tickets to Scotland under my tree. 🙂 I am such a kid in a candy store when it comes to filling stockings!

  10. I would love some really good tea! We used to order specialty loose leaf tea and haven’t in a while and I miss it! Especially a good darjeeling. 😀

  11. The one thing I would love to see under my tree is a new wedding set trio. Our original rings were either lost or the diamonds were lost first and then the settings went missing no.

  12. Hmm, what I would most like under my tree…Well, I am truly blessed– and yet, that never stops me from asking for more, lol, so I would say…more time– or rather, the discipline I need to redeem more time with the people I love. The older I get, the more important time is to me. And wow! Does it fly! Beyond that, probably a cruise, so that I can spend some of that time with my sister. Best wishes on the merriest of Christmases… 🙂
